About Degirmen
DEGIRMEN means "mill" in Turkish — a symbol of movement, labor, and creation. Just as a mill turns grain into fragrant bread, we combine the best traditions of Turkish cuisine with the rhythm of modern life to create food that you want to return to again and again.
We began as a small bakery and grew into a café brand with our own production, staying faithful to quality, warmth, and respect for traditions.
Foundation
Our journey started with a simple idea: make honest, delicious food accessible to everyone while honoring Turkish culinary heritage.
Almaty
Opening near the Green Bazaar in Almaty, we began with a compact 50 m² space that combined a small bakery production and a cozy café.
Today
More than 60 restaurants across Kazakhstan and modern production facilities delivering consistency, quality, and the flavors people love.
